Foreign Students in Public Schools

If students want an on-site rather than an on-line education through Sequoia, they can physically attend school on our American campus through our Foreign Students in Public Schools Program.  We accept applications for students who wish to obtain F-1 Visas. Students need to be proficient in English and space is limited.  Please review the entrance process below.

Step 1: Pass the ECT (English Proficiency Exam)

Step 2: Apply Online Here

Step 3: Receive Decision Letter by within 3 days.

Step 4: Submit transcripts from your current school and immunization records from your doctor.

Step 5: Make Tuition Payment.  The cost of tuition per semester including 4 months and 3 high school credits is $3,000 ($6,000 for a full year/6 credits) including all expenses except air fare and should be paid in full before an I-20 Invitation can be granted.  If a student is not able to obtain a VISA after an I-20 is granted, the full tuition cost minus any wire transfer or transaction fee will be returned to the student.  Payment can be made by bank wire transfer or PayPal.  Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Step 6: Receive I-20 Invitation and host family information from Sequoia and use it to apply for an F-1 Visa. To obtain a Visa, you need to make an appointment with a U.S. consular in your country.  The cost for the Visa interview is currently $200. and wait times for interviews for Visa approval vary.

Step 7: Receive your Visa, obtain a passport, make travel arrangements and coordinate with your host family in order to be picked up at the airport.  (If you are not approved by the U.S. to obtain a Visa for any reason, the tuition payment will be wired back to the account where it originated.)
